SCORE events

SCORE events enable the science community to engage in informed discussion about key issues in science education.

In October 2014 SCORE held a seminar to discuss changes to the assessment of science practical work in A-levels. Dennis Opposs, from Ofqual, and Ben Jordan, from UCAS, spoke about the reforms and a panel of admissions officers gave their perspective on the changes. To view their slides click here and here.

The aim of this event was to discuss changes to university admissions procedures in the light of the change, and the technical issues which might arise. A report of the seminar is available here.
